So yesterday I pulled my idle stepper motor off to clean it out cause I was having idling issues. Put it back on and go out for a run and for some reason I am now having boost issues. It real slowly spools up to about 7psi then shoots up to my set limit of 13psi consisently everytime. Is this unrelated to my work maybe bov not quite sealing or something? I have a base lancer but I am running stock evo 8 16g turbo with a forge adjustable wga, stock evo 9 intake/ic piping, evo 9 fmic, evo 9 bov and evo 9 maf.

 

When you take that out and clean it the sensor will get reset. So it will then be in a different position. Sometimes letting it adjust itself will work.

But just to make sure I would do a boost leak test to see if while you did that you didn't loosen something to cause this problem.
