Ordered Ebay varis PU lip and got here with a few bends

I wanted to know if this is normal. I ordered this varis PU lip from baysonr. I received the lip with a few bends on the lower portion where it meets the road. The upper part is straight. Anyone had a similar problem?

Should I ship it back? I got an instruction paper saying I should leave the lip in direct sunlight or use a hair dryer to straighten it out. But none of that worked.

Pics attached.

Same thing happened to my old one. I just made braces across the whole bottom of the lip on the inside.

Not for this car, but, I bought a body kit for my volvo, rear bumper section was horribly misshapen. Used a hairdryer to fix it. Multiple dents in the curved sections of the bumper came out no problem. Apply alot of heat, and massage out the bumps from the back. Should work.....

Good to know this is normal. I lied the lip down and placed dumbells on the bends for a few days and believe it or not its as straight as can be.

I like poly lips on daily drivers because they can take the abuse. And when you hit a pothole and it gets ripped off you just order another one. Are you painting it? If so make sure to prep it very well. They use a weird release compound on the molds.

A hairdryer ain't going do it. You need to use a heat gun. Move it around with the lip on a flat surface. Mine came from the states to Aus wrapped in some plastic all bent out of shape. Flat as a tack now using a heat gun.

Yeah best bet for you is to use the heat gun because it induces more heat than a hair dryer.
