Don't polish it. Take them to an auto body hop and have them clear them. Then you can wet sand and polish them. They will look new an you'll never have to worry about them EVER again. Without some sort of uv protectant like the clear coat they will yellow and haze again

Bumping this with my results. I followed a similar thread I found on club4g.org. Here's my pics:

I used 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 grit.

I also resealed them, as I was getting headlight in the lenses. I used some leftover resealant from a custom set of 4G Eclipse headlights I did a while back. I got it from theretrofitsource.com, the stuff works very well and is easy to work with once heated up:

I still have some light scratches left over from the sanding, but the lenses look 100 times better than they did before and I no longer have moisture build up. The entire sanding and polishing process took me about two hours, while watching a movie with the girlfriend. It really is a pretty easy job, just takes time and patience. I used about eight coats of Meguiar's Plastx on each lense before I was happy with the results.

Good luck to anyone else who attempts this! If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM

I didn't apply anything yet. If it starts to haze even a little I'll hit it with the Plastx. I've also considered throwing on some clear laminx. It seemed to work well on the custom 4G eclipse headlights I did.
I got the laminx from Autocity Imports (ACI). Their customer service is fantastic. Here's a link to the Evo laminx http://www.autocityimports.com//0305...1301_3468.html
