I am talking about part # 24 and 25.
Without #22 I don't think the bumper would sit proper either.

I actually have 24 25 and maybe I bent one a bit but forsure I need to get 22. and maybe its sagging more because of the license plate on that side and not having the middle reinforcement to hold it up more.

I am running without the crashbeam. I have "sag". Three things I am looking at.

[a] Maybe get a fabricated L shaped for the bumper to sit on which could add rubber stoppers or something in that regards to increase or decrease spacing between bumper and headlights.

[b] Mitsubishiparts.net - states the fender screw set gets worn and needs to be replaced. Goto their website and look at "fender kit". Located by doing a search on here.

[c] I did notice that #8 on the diagram is missing from my bumper. I think that may play a big role as the two holding points are #s - 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7. In between those points is a huge gap in providing support.

In my setup, [c] may be due to no crashbeam so that is the reason for coming up with solution [a].

I do not have 22, 24 or 25 and also have sag. Do 22, 24 and 25 attach to the crash beam?

Good thread.

Good thread.
i believe 24 and 25 provide support so bumper wont flex in high speeds and i believe 22 clips somehow to the crash beam. i found this picture below

With the crash beam adjusted higher up on the car it pulls the bumper up with it.
is there any way to adjust the crash beam with the bumper still on?

sometimes i miss the spot where the bumper should rest and end up with that gap. it could be as simple as pulling it off, then lifting it a bit higher as you reinstall.

if not, compare brackets once the bumper is off.

this is the sole reason i run no undertray LOL

Not much use to you now but might help someone else who doesn't have crash beam

JDM cars don't use crash beam at all, the bumper hooks onto x2 metal brackets which are bolted to the chass (i'll find the part number for you) and the bumper 'hooks' onto these. Simples

make sure 11 and 12 are pushed to most centered they can get inside the bumper. They hold the bumper out so it's taught across the front.

My solution is not looking at the bumper too closely
