Has anyone purchased and installed these before?

 

My buddy Tony of UMS Tuning runs them on his Evo 8 time attack car. And he's running 18x11 +20 Rota MXR's with 305/645R18 Continental R80 racing slicks. As you can tell from the picture they're pretty damn wide. He's running both front and rear AIT +35mm over fenders

 

Did he cut the steel out underneath the panels?

 

Yeah, he had no choice due to his ride height and the width of the tires and wheels. It's definitely a track only car

 

No I mean the door steel too I was thinking to cut any steel out that was covered by the panels

 

And use panel bond too

18x10 +25 with 285

 

He just had to cut the rear wheel well, doors are still in one piece.

 

Think I'm gonna do the doors too

 

That should save some extra weight. Are you gonna get the front fenders too?!

 

A local shop parted out a knockoff voltex kit I might snag the fronts left over from that I think they're really similar.

Otherwise ill do the evo Dave fender mod
