I wanted to know, when you put in the security code, is it a combination of which buttons pressed or like a number code displayed on the unit

^It will be a number code. You can input a 4 digit password. Its very easy to set the password in. The kit comes with instructions.

Shipped to 10567 please. Does this thing have to be hardwired or does it come with a "plug n play" harness?

You can use a plug n play harness like other turbo timers. however, there will be 3 wires that you will still need to hardwired. Pmed you price.
