2005 Evo VIII gearing core build.
Shep took this trans and applied all applicable technical service bulletins and updates as well as modify the oiling system and a few other tricks to make it shift really well. This trans build is used by the quickest and fastest EVOs around including both the AMS drag car and time attack car, AL (Dynoflash), Buschur Racing, Curt Brown, Pruven Performance, Dan Bajalis and many more.

5 speed.
Is it still for sale? I have a 2006 MR with only 12k and my 4th is grinding bad. I would like to get a 5 speed conversion but probably this is the way to go. What do you think? You say that the cables and shifter are needed, how much would those cost? Would you be interested in taking as part of payment my 6 speed?
