TopSpeed Inc. GSC Cams\valvetrain package

GSC Power-Division S1 Cams for the Mitsu Evolution 4-8 are designed for those with the stock turbo up to the GT30/50Trim. These cams will not sacrifice any bottom end loss over stock cams; nothing but gains and will promote faster spooling of the upgraded turbos. Gains of 30-55whp (depending on Turbo) have been seen by simply bolting the S1 cams in. Designed for a rev range of 3000-8000rpms, these cams work well on the stock valve springs. 300-450whp camshaft. Idle is slightly rougher than stock.

GSC S2 cams are designed for those with more power in mind or a larger turbo. No low end power is lost vs the stock cams when used with the larger turbos. The S2 cams will show gains of 50-70whp over the stock cams and in some cases more in the higher RPMS. Great for 2.0L engines revving to 9000rpms or for Stroker motors revving to 8000rpms. The S2 Cams are suggest to run on our upgraded Beehive valve spring replacement or can be run at the stock revlimit and factory boost on the stock spring. Designed for a rev range of 4000-9000 RPMS(2.0L or 3000-8000 2.2L+), 400-700whp applications. S2 cams can run on Factory ECU with custom flashing.

GSC S3 Cams are avalible in a Solid Lifter cam and a Hydraulic Lifter Cam for the Evo 4-8 4G63. These cams are ment for the 800whp+ to take advantage of a very large turbo. these are NOT suggested for anyone running smaller than the 67mm to GT42R turbo.

GSC Power-Division Beehive Springs feature some of the most impressive manufacturing techniques in the industry. Our beehive spring uses an ovate wire which utilizes advanced material heat treatment methods for superior load loss capabilities. What this means to you is our spring has the highest level of spring load retention while still maintaining good fatigue threw out the life of the spring.

The retainer side of the valve spring has a smaller diameter to greatly reduce coil spring surging and improve valve control even at extreme rpm levels.

Only the best materials go into the GSC Power-Division Beehive valve spring. Each batch is scrutinized for tensile strength properties, ductility, inclusion content, and fatigue toughness.

Each new design is tested to 9,000RPMS so you can rest assure that you have the best possible valve spring set available on the market.

The GSC Beehive spring is a factory replacement and will use your stock OEM retainer and Valve Seat to ensure an easy install.

Spring Pressures :
Seat @ 1.56"=68 lbs / .300"=160lbs / .400"=190lbs / .450"=210lbs / .625"= Coil bind.

*Max lift on stock Retainer is 11.4mm at the valve or .259" cam lobe lift.*

GSC Power-Division Race Balance Shaft for the 4G63 Evo 4-9
Don't let removing your balance shafts shorten your oil pump and engines life. GSC has a race balance shaft that will go in place of the OEM balance shaft and support the oil pumps operation even at extreme rpms. The GSC Power Division race balance shaft includes new bearings, a Mitsubishi cap to cap off the balance shaft pulley, and there machined balance shaft. If your plans include a built motor or your ready to make your 4G63 a little lighter internally, make sure you install one of GSC's Race Balance Shaft kits..

GSC Power-Division Spec Adjustable Cam Gears are made from the highest quality 6061 T6 aluminum. They are CNC machined to more exacting tolerances than original gears. The tooth edges are beveled to increase belt life. With twelve degrees (both advance and retard) of laser etched adjustments, you can be assured of proper and precise camshaft timing adjustment.

The inner ring of the cam gear is designed for strength, function, and precision. Stainless steel studs are threaded through the backside of the outer gear. The inner gear is then fastened with stainless steel nuts and lockwashers. This enables an increase in the amount of torqu used to tighten the fasteners, with no risk of stretching to the aluminum threads.
