What is the advantage with a titanium pipe over an aluminum one other than the bling factor?

Weight? How much weight? A few negligible ounces? This a total waste of money.

You're right but people aren't buying it to shed 2lbs. They're buying it for the ARC badge. Im not gonna knock them. I would love to have the piece if i had the money for it.

If you want to shed some weight in that area, get a mini battery kit. Buying something for the badge alone is moronic. Will this pipe actually give a performance increase over a standard aluminum pipe? I highly doubt that it will. If ARC uses the same amount of material with this titanium piece as a normal aluminum pipe than yes it will provide some extra tiny increase in cooling, because titanium is denser than aluminum, but that would result in increased weight. Most likely ARC used less material to take advantage of titaniums strength, but if that's the case than there will be no extra cooling capacity. Either way it's pointless to waste your money on this, because there is no advantage in buying this.

This is the biggest piece of JDM rice I have ever seen. If you're going to get it anyway don't get that extra badge/plate. It's just going to weigh it down.

On top of everything else I just said, upgrading the upper intercooler pipe won't give much of an increase in power anyway.

I give this part an F-.

its for engine dress up believe it or not some people actually "show" these cars
yes its a very strange thing but i dont mind seeing a clean engine bay

If someone gave it to me I would sell it on Ebay and buy an intercooler and lower intercooler pipe. If some hardcore JDM addict wanted to buy it no matter what the price it ends up at, I can probably buy a whole intercooler kit with both the upper and lower piping. It the end someone will lose a lot of money by getting duped and me actually gaining some power in the process by allowing me to raise the boost with my full intercooler kit.

So let me get this straight...If i spend $500+ on an intercooler pipe im a ricer?

Note to self; Discredit anything Vigo has to say from here on out.

You're reasoning for not getting the badged piece is because it will weigh the car down? I take sh*ts heavier than that stupid badge. Better make sure you take care of business next time you get into your car. You don't need that extra weight.

Did you even read my previous post in their entirety? Looks like you just jumped towards the part that got your butt hurt. Lame.

Why does the pipe have 2 tubes underneth it,I know 1 is for bov.
Also this is not even the complete pipe from the intercooler.
$500+ for half a upperintercooler pipe is nuts.
