I was all for this, but then read this month's SCC. They said they have problems moving the STI seats back far enough for 6'+ people. I believe this was even with thinner backed aftermarket seats. Being 6'4" this is rather discouraging. Guess I'll wait for someone locally to buy one first.

I'm with you on that one TheGVR4kid...

I'm 6'6" but in the evo I sit pretty straight up...I don't do the gangster lean when I'm driving it...way too relaxed like that for this car and the HP I'm putting down. Besides you have much more control of the car when in the proper position...I'm sure I would still be at the same place with the seat with these bars in...but I would still like someone to try it first!

I have children, would this bar endager the back seat riders say my kids if I were hit from the front. I would assume that a steel bar would be a hazard if the riders in the back get thrown forward. peace.................

It should take about a week to a week and a half depending on when it can get in to be powercoated. Let me know if you have any questions.

It is really easy to remove you can pull it off then remove the residue with some brake cleaner. It is not stamped.

EVOMIZ - Yes you can use 3 point harnesses along with the bar.

Evo eight - The price would be 399.99 Shipped. We cannot sell the bar without the logo so you would need to remove it after purchase.

Liquidlancer - These bars are powdercoated. Brake cleaner will not affect the powercoating on the bar. You can use whatever you would like to remove it. I am sure with some windex and some elbow grease you could get the residue off.

I am sorry no pics of silver yet.

The seat does slide all the way back. You cannot recline the seat much if at all when it is all the way back. But it will go all the way back.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I belive that is will work but we have not actually fitted one onto a normal lancer. From b pillar to b pillar our shop evo is 46inches. If yours is the same then it should work.

It should be the same one for the EVO 7 as they share the same CT9A chassis.
