Yes it is beneficial to upgrade from the deluxe to the race even with the stock turbo. We did see a drop in air temp. on our RS when we changed from the deluxe to the race. The standard, and deluxe will fit for sure with the stock plumbing. The race I believe will fit as well but we have not installed one herewith stock plumbing. Thanks

is there a difference between the standard and deluxe intercooler, or does it just come with more pieces

iirc, the standard sits a little higher and blocks a little more of the radiator. it's an insubstantial amount to trade for not needing to cut the undertray and uses all stock plumbing. the deluxe comes with a lower ic pipe. they use the same unit i believe.

Got pics of this intercooler? I don't see it on your site, just the delux and standard.

I have a question,

If all of your turbo kits say they work with your FMICs but others must find a lower IC pipe solution....how does your intercoolers work with stock plumbing, but your turbo kits not work with the stock intercooler????

if that makes sense...
