Acutally the Magnus intake will make about 40whp with the stock turbo. Good buy for $500.

I've also heard it improves spool up. Are the HP gains at top end or does it start at the beginning? What about the torque loss? At what portion of the band does that occur?

On a stock turbo the power will be mostly top end. On a big turbo it will be mid to top. Torque loss with a factory turbo is untested but should be minimal. With a big turbo there is no loss.
After Al sells this one, if anyone wants another check out our site.
