A Spec is proud to announce that we now offer the ICS TITAN Head Gaskets from SCE Gaskets for the Evo!

With increased horsepower comes increased stresses on your motor. Changing out the head gasket to a stronger one allows you to contain all that power and channel it to where it should go - to the wheels.

Many Evo owners (and even DSM guys) who crave more HP have succumbed to a failed head gasket. No point in running all that boost and just have your head gasket blow...

So what do you do? There are many options to choose from and most of those options consist of a multi-layer steel construction adapted from OEM applications. Basically, these gaskets use multiple layers of steel to create a "tight" combustion seal when the layers compress. However, this doesn't quite work as well as you would think:



Over time, the gasket area around the cylinder can allow leakage between the layers. This combustion pressure loss = power loss.

Enter the ICS Titan Racing Head Gaskets. These gaskets feature a SOLID METAL CONSTRUCTION instead of the typical multi layer steel thus eliminating the possiblity of layer leakage. Furthermore, these gaskets feature a wire insert forming a "wire o-ring" primary seal and secondary combustion pressure seals. These integral combustion seals (ICS) effectively block any lateral flow of combustion pressure.




In addition, the buit in coolant seals provide added security against high pressure combustion!

The ICS TITAN gasket elimiates the need for machining or o-ringing of the block and is designed to handle heavy doses of boost or nitrous oxide.
