Anodize Stock I/C?

I have a spare OEM Stock I/C in good shape.

Would you anodize it black for the Same $99.00 plus shipping?

Thanks

The only issue with used intercoolers is cleaning. The metal has to be perfectly clean for the anodizing process to work correctly. Cleaning cost will depend on the condition of the intercooler at the discretion of our anodizer, but as long as you're up for that we can make it happen for you

Cleaning - Estimate

The I/C I have is free of bugs.

But it does have the factory black spray paint on the upper half of the tanks.

The fins have the standard grey oxide tha forms on the aluminum.

Careful bead blasting / diping could clean it up.

I would not want to commit to the service without a range of possible charges.

Would it be possble to get a best / worst case estimate from the anodize shop?

Thanks

They are extremely picky with cleanliness and will charge us extra for cleaning off masking tape residue from cardboard side boards to protect the core. There would be no way to guarantee pricing without having the core there in hand. Feel free to call me at 360-263-3748 to discuss the options so we can keep the thread on topic Thanks!
