Is the non CDI version upgradable to the CDI ? Or are the parts not interchangable?

The NON-CDI's coils are different from the coils used with the CDI based systems. These are individually powered and are $120.00 each vs $45.00 each for the coils used in the cdi system.

So could we just buy 4 of the $45 coils and an M&W box/harness from you if we need to upgrade?

I'm a bit confused by your question. As stated the non-cdi system shares none of the same components with the cdi based system. If you purchased a NON-cdi system and outgrew it you'd be better off selling it, which won't be hard. Then purchasing a cdi based system. Our original design expectations have already been surpassed with the non-cdi system. Tunedbycft.com recently installed the non-cdi on a evo 9 gt35 30psi meth an made 575whp and later ran 10.2 1/4

Glad I could clear that up. We've had this question before. I'd rather have the consumer educated about what they are about to purchase. All of our ignition systems carry a 1yr warranty on coils and 2yrs on the wiring harness
