Michael, things here in Iraq are going well. I still have my eyes on the TAK33r turbo we spoke of just before I left. Remember, my goals are 500whp/475wtq. This can all be done on pump gas right? Do you have an estimate on when the CBRD turbo options will be included on the ETS website?

I plan to call you from Iraq once I get this whole time difference thing under control. Bottom line, I'm looking for the high/low of the following turbos with the military discount:

HTA3076r:
TAK33r:
TAK330r:
HTA35r:

OK. But where does the PT6262 fit in the midst of the GT-variant turbos? For example, does it spool slower/faster than the HTA35r? I'm just not too knowledgeable on the PT turbos at all.

We have seen the 6262 spool around 4900 and 5200 depending on modifications. The turbo is very simliar to the HTA3586.

Understood. Does the PT6262 come with options? For example, I can get the HTA35r with either a .63 or .86 a/r. Of course, one a/r has ups and downs over the other. But does this same concept apply to the PT6262? I'm more concerned with having more torque down low (yes, even for a non-stock frame turbo) as opposed to topend.

Yes, we can build it in a T3 .63a/r or .82a/r, the only thing you can't do with a non garrett is twin scroll.

Thanks,

Michael

That sounds good. So, a PT6262 with .63 a/r is smaller/larger than an HTA35r? I see that HTA35r at around 30PSI on pump spool and reach full torque around 4.5K which is just fine with me. I'm just trying to see where the PT6262 stacks against a turbo that I've had my eyes on for quite some time.

The 6262 has a bigger wheel the 35R, so the spool up will be a bit slower, but the peak power of the 6262 is very similar to the HTA3586
