I do not recommend using over 3 wave washers as it makes it impossible to ever separate the bearing form the pressure plate. The problem with the Mitsubishi EVO is that there is no positive stop for the clutch fork. TurboTrix makes a external positive fork stop that is adjustable and easy to install.

Its a common problem with any EVO clutch that is still the factory pull style no matter what brand of clutch you have.

would this help for a competition stage 3 clutch? i saw that it is meant for a twin disc... i have no idea what kind of clutch is in my car right now and it just went out. so i think that the clip might have been the problem
