Mild steel? Boo! For $750 it should be aluminum. I really do like the powdercoated look, I may end up having to get the RalliArt pipes instead.

BTW, I asked this in another thread but nobody has ever really verified. What gains exactly do we see from hard IC piping? Are there any hard dyno #'s or what? All I've heard is better throttle response and spool...

This kit was prototyped on my car and I dont have official #'s on the track but I can tell you and so can most of the Evo-NY guys that the car was spooling up at around 2200 rpm and felt alot more power throughout the powerband.

ralliart pipe's look more cleaner and come with samco couplers

Ralliart has a nice kit - overpriced, no t bolt clamps, stock BOV flange, and is longer, not to mention lots more money
