Helix Oil Catch Can $75 shipped!

Hi all,

We just recieved a new shipment of Helix Oil catch cans! These are priced at $75 each shipped to your door! CA residents please add sales tax. Local pick up is welcome.

Helix Catch Can
The Helix Catch Can is designed to trap oil moisture and blow-by caused by normal engine operation, especially in turbo charged vehicles. On your factory vehicle, because of emissions regulations, the waste oil and sludge is generally re-routed back into the intake stream. This debris will tend to accumulate inside the intake tract, intercooler, turbocharger, as well as be ingested into the engine during normal combusion process. Needless to say, this sludge and blow-by will hurt the performance of your vehicle. The Helix Catch Can eliminates this problem by trapping such debris and insuring optimal horsepower and longevity of you vehicle.

Features: Machined and polished aluminum tank, Clear braided hoses with hose clamps and adapter, visual debris level indicator, mounts vertically or horizontally.

Please give us a call to order!

Thanks,

Cal

Will this work with the STI, SRT-4, and the EVO?

If so, I may get a few.

Also, is there anything inside the catch can the captures the debris and keeps it from reentering the outgoing tube?

Yes this catch can will work for the WRX, STi and SRT4, as well as the EVO. Inside the catch can is empty. You can fill the catch can w/ some sort of absorbing compound to keep the debris from re-entering the outgoing tube.

Hope this helps,

Thanks

Do you sell a catch can with something built in already to catch the debris?

This should take about 30-1 hour to install (finding a good location is pretty hard in EVO engine bay). but its do-able as you can probably find some examples in this forum of folks who have done this mod.
The absorbent compound can probably be bought at local hardware store. I am not exactly sure the exact term of the compound, but its must be some sort of absorbent that won't cause the oil to leak back out.

Thanks

guys, an absorbing agent is not needed. It would actually be a bit of a risk for put anything in the can if your going to run it back to the intake.

You could also just run the catch can as a breather and just cap off the intake pipe instead of rerouting the can to the intake. This would serve your pupose perfectly.

Another pic of mine
