Quickshift: Are you talking about the smaller underhood brass bushing that go at the end of the clutch cables? The smaller one was too small?

Thumbs up

I just got tracking info on my set. That will complete my shifter mods. I have the WORKS grab, B&m shortie, solid shifter mount bushings. I think these bushings will truly give the EVO a decent shifter feel. I just want solid positive shifts.....I hate mis-shifts Who dosent?

d EVOved OnE - what exactly is the WORKS grab? I tried looking on their website, but i have no clue what ur talking about. ANd the B&M short shifter u got was the non-adjustable for 138$ right?

its what WORKS calls their shiftknob. Its machined aluminum and heavier then the stock...nice shift action. And, yes, that's the B&M shifter I have.

THanks for the orders guys, we still have plenty in-stock and ready to ship. If you own an EVO and still have the stock bushings - Purchase these for a nice upgrade

Do these bushings need to be pressed in? I had these on my 98GSX and had to use a c-clamp to get them in.

I had a somewhat bad experience with them on my 98 GSX. After installing them, shifting into 5th gear felt like glue. I'm guessing that the solid bushings didn't allow enough slop for the shifter cables to move with the shift linkages. Maybe it's different on the EVOs.

We have heard from a few customers that it will fit the oz, we have not test fitted at our shop yet, so we are not 100% sure.

Put mine in this weekend. Installation couldn't be any easier. You just take off the strut bar, pop out the old ones, and put in the new ones. It literaly took me 15 minutes to do this. Makes a noticable improvement in shifter feel. Highly recomended mod.
