Ive heard with installing a new BOV:

1. VTA's stall the car
2. recurilating ones have made the car flutter(forge motorsports one)

with install the HKS have you had any problems

Yea I would like to know as well...to be honest, if this is VTA, isnt that hurting the air readings? I wish there was some solid evidence if it 100% works with no stalling.

yes a VTA blowoff will stall the car out...you are asking for headaches if you do, recirculation will work best. But good luck to those who plan on VTA'ing

So where are the answers Vivid, you got possible buyers here, if you put out an offer than you have to be prepared to answer some questions! So is it VTA or REC or adjustable?

I see that other vendors have a Recirculation Kit for this bov. It's not the Evo specific one, but I don't think that matters. Any input Vivid?

i have the HkS on my car rec. The car has never stalled but. You just have to mess with the ajustment knob.

Bob does it adjust from VTA to REC? And is yours the evo specific one, not sure how much it matters.

I had on of these. I used the one for the 99 eclipse turbo. Worked fine. The way its in the picture, its setup to VTA. The stalling inst that bad. Only time it would do it is I let off the throttle under full boost and had to come to a fast stop. It did seem to flutter a lot. When i tried to adjust my speed at about 85-90 it would flutter really bad. Im sure if i messed with the adjustment knob it wouldnt be as bad. One guy on the forumn said adjusting it would just change the speed it would flutter at to a different speed. For the thing to re-circ, you have to buy a kit. I bought it for 45 bucks, unless this one comes with it. It flutters either way. I liked it, its just that I never even tried just adjust it. I just went to a different one.
