I was thinking the same thing but in the pictures of it on the car I don’t see where the diameter tapers down, maybe it is just that picture.

-Just out of curiosity does anyone know where Helix is from (are they an American company, Australian?) Does Helix have a website?

oh yeah...about the tapering thing....it may be your monitor...on mine i can see what you are talking about with the tapering...its a mirror effect from the polished SS....its actually light reflecting off...and blends with the background...no worries.

Any tapering to less than 3" of the Helix 3" system (DP+CB)??
Will it work with the Random 3" cat??

Is this 3" as well?

Thumbs up

hey all..

i installed my helix TB W. test pipe, about a week ago..damn i gotta tell you guys..the welding and polish on this system is awsome..its all 3" from the turbo to the back..NO tapering..it came w. everything u need to install..(gaskets, bolts)..

after the install i took it for a drive..OMG..the most noticeble gain was from 4000rpm top redline..it pulls really hard..

i just love the sound its a deep rumble..really deep..and @ WOT its just deeper and louder not raspy at all...although w. the silencer @ WOT it sounds like theres tint foil stuck in my exhuast..weird..

about the cell fix..well my friend did the wiring and he did cut both blk wires at the same time..so we didnt know which goes where...it was trial and error...so we solder it back...50 miles later the CEL came on..then we switched the wires about 50 miles later it came on again..so i have no idea how to fix it..

and a to you guys @ gruppe-s..very pleasant to deal w...i need the system on certain day and Max assure me it was gonna get there on time and it did...cuase i had a dynoflash appointmen on that day..thanks for the kick *** deal

hopefully i'll figure out the cel issue...

so guys..go ahead and buy this system..u will not regret it..

Glad you like this exhaust setup. I also have the same one and I love it.

And in regards to your CEL issues, did you guys by any chance crossed the wires when extending the wiring harness? If not, check the connections between the extenders and original wires.. o2 sensor wirings are very sensitive.. if one line is slightly off.. it will throw CEL immediately.

Good luck, and let us know how that goes.

BUMP! The wait is over! BACK IN STOCK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry for yelling, but I just had to!

The Gruppe-S Power Package #1 was designed to provide the best "power for the dollar" solution to entry-level power modifications. After extensive testing, we carefully selected a parts combination that will yield the maximum amount of power without sacrificing drivability, reliability, or your wallet! We found that because of the stringent emissions regulations in the US, significant power can be made with the stock turbo by simply allowing your Evolution to breath better. The combination of the Helix cat delete, downpipe, and cat-back exhaust system yields an incredible hp gain (15%!!) for the Evo. As can be seen from the dyno graph, with our Power Package 1.

Helix 03-04 EVO Downpipe $229 shipped!

Helix 03+ Cat-back $449 shipped!

Helix test-pipe $139 shipped!

Special Helix turbo-back for 03-04 EVO COMBO offer $799 shipped!!!

Hurry! This special offer will end soon! Please give us a call!

Thanks you
