THis is an awesome deal, but I think the majority of the EVO owners already have the hardwares that you wanted to include in this great deal. But I'm sure alot of us do not have the Utech and would love to have the utech. What I'm trying to say is that why not do a sale event for the Utech? Most of us jump on the bangwagon for the HKS stuffs or the Helix stuffs. Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.

Wow, yet another great deal. If I wouldn't already have an exhaust I would jump on this deal too. The Utec is very nice.

So I guess my speculation is correct then. Alot of us already have an exhuast system in place. It sucks that we didnt wait, but it would be nice for TXS to do a good sale on the Utech unit. What do you guys think?

Any sound clips of the RFL Exhaust? I looked around for a bit, and wasn't successful at all.

Also, would this work with a dynoflashed ECU?

Thanks

Currently I don't have any clips of the RFL exhaust system on the website. I have been getting my computer straightened out so I might take some video and transfer it to the website soon. I know there are several EVOM members that have this exhaust system on their cars so they might be able to provide you feedback on the sound of the system.

The UTEC and the dynoflash are both forms of engine management so it wouldn't make much sense to have both.

So will this work on a ECU that has already been previously Dynoflashed, or do I have to send my ECU back to Dynoflash to have it returned to stock config? I'm not too knowledgable on this subject, but I would guess that the car would now rely on maps stored on the UTEC once installed, rather than the Dynoflash data on the ECU. Correct?

Thanks Nathan

You could send your ECU back to Dynoflash and have Al tune you back to stock then get his UTEC base flash. So you would actually get some money back from your flash.

A sale on the UTEC would be a sweet idea

I just got my evo not too long ago, the car is in stock right now, I want to upgrade but now seems too early, however this is a very good deal, I'm a newbie and always being told should get downpipe first, where does that frontpipe locate at or is it just another phrase for downpipe. I'm also assuming the Utec is plug and play just like EMS, does it come with a display where I can play with the features and adjust such as ignition, boost, etc...?? If that downpipe is not included in this package, I think I can possiblely add that on in addition to this plus AFC II, i'm thinking the car can go well over 300WHP.

Front pipe is just another name for the down pipe. There is no need for an AFC with this package because the UTEC does what the AFC does and more.

So for a stock evo, with utec / stage 2 map, and exhaust will increase to 295 whp, are you calculating this base on just these mods or there are other mods as well which you have not listed. The stage 2 map also tuned w/the turbo back exhaust, Is everything else have been setup just like stock such as boost level, air/fuel level and ignition timing? Am I correct, if that is the case, other features like air/fuel controller and timing, boost controller are not setup just as yet, where you might gain more whp (ex: like apexi AFC II) once you adjust air/fuel using Utec am I right? If that is right, once you adjust the air fuel, timing and adjust the boost then it should go over 295whp.

I also have this problem with knocking sounds after you adjust air/fuel I guess I'll do more research.

what is the differences between Stage 1 and Stage 2 map?
Which stage does this Utec come with? when you say base stage 2 map, is that the same thing as stage 2 map or different version?
