Carlos, I'm really looking forward to your ceramic coating thread.

I'm really interested in how well your ceramic coating holds up to a daily driven car that gets put through it's paces. Traffic, WOT 1-4, cruising for hours on the highway going from state to state, etc. My car is parked outside in the elements as well.

I have Swain-Tech's White Lightning on my Full-Race manifold now, but it has over 50k miles on it at this point, and has started to crack and such. Looks like it can't expand/contract with the metal since it gets so hot and has been on there for so long.

Will your ceramic coating fade? What do you do for the customer if it starts to crack and such?

I'm very interested since I'll have a bunch of stuff to have coated when the time comes.

Jalal,

Thanks for the interest.
Just like you mentioned there will be a separate thread on ceramic coating very soon.

We're actually very lucky to be friends with the owners of a local Evo performance shop, JMS Racing in San Antonio Tx. We've worked closely with them for a couple of years now improving on our ceramic coating constantly. Both their shop daily driven 700+hp Evo's run our ceramic coating, one of them being the 1st 9 sec Evo in Texas. What better way to show our coatings hold up than to have them on a couple of 9 sec daily driven Evo's? More info coming soon...........

Will powder coating forged wheels cause any issues with the strength or integrity of the wheel?

Well, I can't wait to see this thread and to see how your coatings have been holding up on those daily driven 700+hp evo's. I really really hope you can post pics showing what the coating looked like new and what it looks like now. That's really important to me.

Any idea when the thread will be up? LOL Now I'm anxious!

It will be next week, we are a little overwhelmed with pm's/emails right now!
We have the 700hp dyno video and pictures of before and what everything looks like now.

No question who's doing my calipers, Quick question, can you re-assemble the Brembo calipers with a new set of seals if a customer provides them to you?

Yes sir, we actually recommend reassembly with new seals since the calipers will be completely broken down.
You can get them from Girodisc, they offer the Brembo brand seals and a oem replacement for cheaper.

Can you do the wrinkle finish in more colors than just black and red?
