What kind of wax are you using, the paint looks so good - it almost looks wet!!! It's amazing.

Thanks for the compliments everybody.

I put alot of Zaino on my car a while back, but now I've been using the NXT by Meguirs. It's not as good as Zaino, but it does better than anything else I've used....and I've used alot of stuff.

Every little comment like this makes it harder for me to part with these wheels. A part of me wants to sell them and get something different and another part tells me to keep them.

Awesome. Looks so, so, so, good with that wheel/tire setup. I've never liked the red evo, until I saw yours. Looks sick.

That's basically what I'm about. I'm all about simple and subtle exterior mods. I figured getting the Evo looking like it should have when it came to the US was more than enough.

Thanks agian.

Keep the wheels. One question, how's the shocks holding up with the springs? I was thinking of getting the s-tech's until I can get coilovers.

keep the wheels. i think the sf-winnings look better on a longer car (like the 350z, g35, or sylvia). the volk ce28 or le28 are a much better looking wheel for the evo (in my honest opinion). but remember, different stokes for different folks. do what makes you happy.

here are a few pix of 19x9.5 19mm front and 19x10.5 17mm rear sf-winnings on my ex-350z.

and a pic of volk ce28 18x9.5 on my car

I've always been a sucker for a mesh style wheel. I almost bought gold GTU's, but I wanted a wider than stock rim. Now I'm wanting even wider.

jbigelow....I don't see how you got rid of that 350. That is by far the top 5 best looking 350's I've ever seen. Your Evo looks hawt as well. Is that the Do Luck lip? If you ever decide to part with it, let me know.

I'm still up in the air about it. I've had some PM's about my wheels and probably could have already sold them, but I just don't want to regret it later down the road.

thanx for the compliment about the 350, but i needed a car with more room as a daily driver for my firefighter equipment.

the evo is a funner car out of the box though, but put a turbo in the z, and the z rules.

i love the evo for now, but the 2007 GT-R is an option though (if it is turbo)

i say keep your volk ce28s, but i'm biased to these wheels to the evo though!!!!

I love how the Z looks ... even with a turbo its bad *** ..... but get on any Z forum and you'll see those guys are poping motors all the time with FI. I was thinking about the Z ... but want something that I can mess with with out buying a new motor.
