I want pic #2 in high-res for a background! SWEET!

 

Good shooting. Just a suggestion if I may (been shooting a really long time), for the one with the motorbike in the background if you adjust your depth of field a bit and set your exposure for a longer period, keeping your iso low (100 or even 50) the trunk and such would have also been in perfect focus while the bike and the rest of the background would also still be in focus. take it or leave it, about the only thing I would have done for all of your shots. very nice shots.

kudos on some very excellent shots, your schooling is obviously paying off.

That picture was shot with an f/2.8 aperature and ISO100 using long shutter speed. I did it that way for the bike. I have another shot with just the Lancer Evolution clear and the background blurry for depth of field. Then I have another pic shot with a aperature of f/20 with both subjects in focus. The only problem was I had to increase the ISO to 400 and use the "BULB" function. It made the picutre too noisy. It just wasn't enough lighting at the time. Thank you for your suggestions though.

I'm from Atlanta, GA. Although, I don't have a car right now to make it to EVO meets. I should be joining the ranks hopefully by the end of the month. On top of that my 20D is arriving next week to replace my 10D. See you guys soon.

Evo 1, it's not the first time someone has offered to purchase airline tickets for me to shoot a meet. I don't ask anything other than the airline tickets.
