I totally agree with Evo King on this one, while they do look nice on the Evo, I think they are much better suited for a RWD car where you can run a staggered setup with wideass tires in the back and a fat lip. I like the GT-7 or GT-N on the Evo, personally.

I also don't think the GTCs match a 4door sedan.
I am looking for Gramlight 57Pros or Advan TCIIs. Maybe Monster Sport wheels.

I am however happy that different people like different things so we keep humanity
and don't see klones of our rides day by day ;-)

...and one more for you EVO King295

i appreciate your honest comments, i just noticed you didn't have an evo in your info when i wrote that response, didn't mean for you to take it personal. i was just surprised in your 'doesn't flow' comment. can we just kiss and make up ? J/K

I think they look great on certain sedans, just not the Evo...

evo king295 - good luck on your evo purchase! your gonna love owning and if you decide to, modifying her. i have had my evo for a year and two months, use her as a daily commuter and she still puts a smile on my face when i drive her . she is such a blast to drive! i plan on keeping her forever .

toyos are not as sticky as the advans but then again the advans are summer high performance tires better used on a track then city streets and hwys. what toyo lacks in performance makes it up in treadlife. don't get me wrong they are still great performers when pushed.

my stock advans only lasted 12,000 miles and i don't even auto-x or drag race, strickly commuter car. i switched out the stock advans with toyos and with about 15 thousand miles on them i still have about 50-60% treadlife. that's why i got another set with my GT-C's. i like the T1-S's and definately recommend them .

damn, did u rotate the advans / rebalance every 3-5k miles? they shouldve lasted ATLEAST 15k miles with just a commuter car

sure did, every 5k miles, which was only two rotations done within a year. tires were wearing out pretty evenly so there was not a need to rebalance them.

It’s all opinion as we know. There is no difference between the looks on the RWD and the AWD. If these wheels were used on Evo from the beginning, people would say that they do not flow on the Z. Deep dish looks nice but does not change with a staggered setup. The fronts on the Zs are about the same as the Evo. If you can’t say anything nice, don't say anything. He is not asking for approval. He is just showing a not so popular, good looking wheel on a great car. I personally chose the wheel because it looks good on the car. I have been here already with the pointless posts.
