Autometer boost gauge kind of noisy.

I just installed an autometer B.G. and it sounds kind of loud, almost like it's bleeding off boost. Is this normal for a mech. style boost gauge or do I have a leak? It's not too loud, but it's definitely not silent.

if you can hear air then you have a leak.

Yeah, sounds like you may have to tighten the tubes on the back a little more. I can't hear anything out of mine.

I went to three hardware stores to solve my leaky gauge. It's quiet now, but it was a pain in the ***. I used a screw clamp to tighten the vac hose to the back of the gauge.

Thanks guys. I just had to tighten the **** out of the guage connection. Silents and runs like a charm.
