Just got my MR SE gg a few weeks ago

 

Looks good, where did you pick that up from? I've been searching craigslist and autotrader every day!

 

you should try cars.com there always seem to be more evos listed on there then anyplace else.

youre the first person to ever tell me you didnt like the eyelids haha daaaamn. Ive never seen another Evo around my area with them, not even at the tri state evo meets, I love how much meaner it makes the front end look.

But ya I love the black wheels too, so much better than the stock grey color. Took me 2 days at 6 hours a piece to paint and prep. I took my time, did it slowly and they came out amazing. Duplicolor semi gloss black engine enamel ftw.

 

I'm not usually a fan of eyelids but those cf ones go real well on a gg

 

Don't get me wrong, they don't look bad or anything, I'm just not a fan of them and was never really convinced by their "purpose." It looks alright in the first picture, but eyelids are a little too much on the ricey side for me personally. But like I said, otherwise your car is cool. I just had my car washed this morning, and I was thinking black BBSs on mine (also a GG IX) would look pretty sharp.

 

Yea I gotcha. I never liked eyelids either and would never have bought them, but the guy I bought the car from put em on. And Im a carbon fiber nut, and I'm glad he put em on cause theyre not cheap either. Same goes for the JDM bumper, I woulda never had the money to buy it myself and put it on, so Im glad he put it on! hahah
