Thinking about buying a red evo

Dealer called me today and said they are getting a red 05 evo in. Someone told me that the paint quality in the red isnt to good and it fades fast. I am a Zaino user and probably can control it. My first choice is silver for my evo and 2nd was red. Just want input on quality of this paint. Is it bad on swirls and scratchs? HELP

the red is kinda crappy ...just keep up on the paint. Wax and such. It looks wicked cool with red ralliart mudflaps

The red is awesome, I get nothing but complements. About the swirls and scratches, you get those on all cars no matter the paint color. It is just a matter if you can see them, they just stand out on colors other than white and silver.

swirls and cratches hide pretty well with red. White is a good color with the evo, but that has bcame a very common color among evos now since everybody wants it. Im going to repaint my evo to the BMW midnight blue...Now that's wicked...!

yeah but i did a search on this site about the red paint. Heard of ppl polishing and red came off on the towel or whatever they used. Also ppl saying areas of the car fading. I think most of the cars where 03..04...for the guys with red...do you have fading problems or paint coming off?

I have a red 03' and the paint is just as beautiful as the day I bought it. When I think about the other colors available I have no regrets at all!

do you have bad swirl issues? this is weird some ppl say no problems and some have a lot about the paint...maybe its operator error on cleaning it with harsh products and not telling ppl?
