I hated the stockers so much, I actually decided to try overlays. I saw the overlays on Bluebatmobile.com and I liked what I saw. I figured for $50, why not. The install was pretty easy, I could have spent more time but I think they turned out pretty decent. Here are some pics. I was sent the red overlays instead of the smoked, but I really like the way the red and amber look together.

Why the orange turn signals? Would've looked better all red...

 

I was shooting for an "MR" style tail....I was supposed to get a smoked overlay and the amber for the turn signals. But, I got the red overlay with the amber. I actually like the amber...it does not look orange in person. From what I have seen on the web site, the smokes would have been a little darker than I would have wanted to have on my car. I am going to get the actual MR tails, but they are way too pricy right now. The overlays look pretty good to me.

 

i like them, looks MUCH better than the stockers.

 

i woulda just spent the money and got the real deal...

 

Not a fan personally, but nice car man.

 

To me $400 bucks for something that is not going to make the car faster is a waste. They were $50 bucks and I can always take them off. Plus, the if I got new tails, the stockers are not really in demand so I would have had them sitting around anyway.
