I'd really like to see a dyno sheet of this car. 700 HP is really incredible for a car with a turbo that supports a maximum of 600 HP. How does JUN squeeze that extra 100 HP out of this setup?

You can still use a boost controller with a standalone.

That's correct. However, if your standalone is programmed for 30psi of boost but for whatever reason you only want to run 26psi of boost a boost controller will allow you that added flexability. As an additional example, my car is programmed to run 30 psi on 116 octane. When it's cold outside the boost might spike to 32 psi or more. When that happens I only need to adjust the boost control and not reprogram the ECU. You're correct in thinking that a boost controller is not neccesay but it is a nice added feature IMO.

I don't know if "haters" is the right word. When you post pictures on an internet sight you're going to get people responding with their opinions. Some people do not like the looks of this car. I do, minus the stickers.

Also, some amazing performance claims are being made. It would be nice to see a dyno sheet and/or 1/4 slip. I'm sure that this is an extremely powerful Evo. But 700hp? 9 second 1/4 mile? The turbo being used doesn't support these figures.

At the end of the day an Evo built by JUN is a rare and impressive vehicle along the lines of a RUF Porsche.
