Autometer Nexus?
Those are pretty nice even for Autometer.........all the same features as the Defi BF's and you can change the illumination.http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...&Ntt=autometer
but for the price I would rather buy a set of Defi Ambers

I don't know if the nexus gauges are better quality. Or what but for that price I would rather go for something i know works then something that might work.

Autometer gauges are actually very good.
People have a misconception when they sit about 1-2psi off when the gauge is turned off, that they must be reading 1-2 psi off when the gauge is up and running, not true.
I tried searching for proof of this that I actually read last night but couldnt find anything.
They RULE the domestic market and have a very favorable market share compared to other gauge comapnies, this should tell you something.
When I buy my new car (EVO/SRT) I will be using Autometer gauges for multiple reasons.
1) Inexpensive
2) They work
3) They look decent
4) I live about 25 mins away from autometer, so if I have a problem, I can take it directly to them

there must be some manner of testing that could be done... why not hook up a defi and an autometer in the same car and see what gauge reads what... instead of all the heresay...
that sounds like a good diea you spring the money and ill put thyem in my car. i was telling ym boss about the defi gauges and he told me to get the new autometer ones, and i was like bro autometer is friggin gay, he goes you gotta see em they are just like the defis just as nice, after looking at them i do think they are just as nice as the defi with an exeption of the polished bezle and the fact that they still say autometer on them lol im still leaning twords defi
Inaccurate readings can also be caused by a bad installation, Autometer is a very well known and reputable company in both the Domestic and Import community. I myself have had great success with their products, no complains from me.
