You gotta slow down for rain, regardless of your tires, but especially with the A046s, or in my case, Falken Azenis Sports. It rained so hard last night at some points I was down to 45 mph and still hydroplaning a bit. Be careful out there everybody!

The part number for the front bumper is MN161109WA; MitsubishiParts.net has it for $336 plus about $34 shipping. It comes finished (yes finished, not primed) in white so it should hopefully already match your car. (In my case I had to get it painted red.)

If you take the bumper off you'll notice there are a few bits beneath it, specifically one metal "rib" below each headlight. Make sure you can straighten those if they're bent. They're riveted to the bumper so you'll need to cut/drill the rivets to reuse the pieces, and you'll need a rivet gun to attach them to the new bumper (which comes with the rivets and plastic fasteners). Also, note the bottom lip is a separate piece, MN126784WA, and goes for around $176.

Good luck!

and then you suddenly smash on your brakes because theres a pile up ahead. You hydroplane your car and smash into the cars infront of you causing another huge pile up. Then i come walking up asking if you are OK. You respond saying yes then i start laughing and say thats what you get for being an irresponsible driver...I seriously hope this type of situation doesn't happen to you but some people really need to learn and it takes something that serious to really teach them a lesson. What does it take? Taking a persons life and yours in an accident that you caused? Losing your life? or even worse living through the accident while the other person died.

I wonder why LA has the worst drivers? Big freakin ego's showing off how fast their car is or how cool it looks, driving with their TVs on, playing with their sound systems on the road, talking on the cell phone, eating etc. If we didn't have such slow/bad traffic i would be all for the Autobahn rules...and those jack asses who think that driving faster in LA TRAFFIC, weaving in and out of traffic like a moron nearly hitting other cars will get them to their point of destination faster...it doesn't, you just waste more gas than the person who's driving slower than you. Going WOT for a few seconds won't help you it just burns more gas.

On Topic: I'm sorry for your loss. I'll call my hook ups and see if there are any evo bumpers lying around. New or used.

Off Topic: In regards to the weather. Its just mother natures way of keeping the humans on check for ****ing up her land and over populating areas. Its the "Day After Tomorrow" Most of the events that happened in that movie are true if such a thing does happen and those events seem to be happening now. >=o]

Yes everyone, please be careful! Like one wise member said, just becase we have AWD doesn't mean jack shiot. You wouldn't believe how many totalled cars I have seen within the past two weeks, one of them being an STI.

That sucks about your accident, but I am glad you are OK. Would hate to see a fellow Evo owner getting injured.

I bent my TE-37 wheel going over a pothole. I have noticed many new potholes after the heavy rain.

You, sir, are an idiot. First of all for going 80 MPH in the rain, second of all for driving way too fast compared to the rest of traffic--who, incidentally, already have better tires for the rain than you. You're an accident waiting to happen and a liability to all Evo drivers out there. Slow the **** down or get different car and drive up someone else's insurance rate. Moron.

Wow You got some *****?!! I'll remember you when I passing your granny driven a** flippin you the bird at the same time. I think you should trade in your Evo for a Geo Metro. And just remember to keep your a** in the slow line, that way there'll be less chance of me cutting you off. And I'm not sure why your insurance rates are so high. Maybe you’re having a hard time convincing your insurance company you can actually drive. May you should call your mom and have her do it for you. "Mommy no, it's raining outside"

I admit going 80 MPH is a little fast for the rain I'll try to keep It at 75 next time, for you. B***H

Dude go get a life, instead of trying to diss people on this forum. I understand where you’re coming from. But you do sound like a little b***h. I not say I was driven 80MPH in congested traffic, or when it's raining so hard you can't see the road.

I hate to imagine your life . Never going to the edge, never taking the chance. Your low dismal life, experiencing everything you would like to try in the form of a video game. And probably thinks he's a autocross driver just because he goes to the track one a week.

You should also try a different approach to expressing you thoughts instead of creating enemies. Stop being so ****. Go get a blow job from a real woman instead of jacking off to your internet **** site.

I'll drink this beer for you
