New wheels (5Zigen FN01R-C)

17 X 8s in hyper black. Why 17 X 8s? Well, bought some new Advans last week and had them mounted. Discount Tire scratched 3 of my wheels while mounting them . So, they replaced the wheels with these; free of charge of course.

[edit] I believe they're +25 and they just clear the calipers. Unfortunately, they're rubbing on my mud flaps so I'll either have to cut them or take them off. Dunno yet, that's a job for tomorrow .

Sorry but I dont like em too. Are they lightweight? If they are light, then I dont mind having them as track wheels, but otherwise I would buy the rims you got. Sorry but just IMO.

For cast wheels they're pretty light. I think they're a pound or two lighter than stock. The wheels had to be within a price limit that DT were willing to pay, otherwise I would have got some nice Volks . I prefer them over the stock wheels even though I admit there are many better wheels out there on the market.

No need to apologise about posting your opinion; not everybody will like them .

I like the wheels but they would look better in bronze with the white. How come they're rubbing on the flaps? Aren't they the same sice as stock, is it because of the offset?

Same size but different offset. They stick out slightly further than the stockers.

The reason for black is the whole white/black contrasty theme I'm going for:

Niiice! I like 'em, a lot. I only like the bronze with the black or blue.

FWIW, the 17" X 9" weigh 17 lbs, I imagine the 8" wheels weigh even less.

If I may, one suggestion: if you lower the car or set camber to most negative setting, the wheels won't appear to stick out so much.

^^ I think the drop on that car is a bit too much in the front.

I think you should have went with 17x9 with a lower offset. Otherwise, lower your car...it will look alot nicer.
