Little sock looking thing in the engine bay

Okay what is it??? Does it do anything??? and where can I get one Ive seen a ralliart on and as of present I have been cleaning up the ol engine bay so I thought it may be a nice addition.

Those are cool. You guys would laugh so hard at me, I used a blue arm band from Puma to cover up my nasty a$$ stained brake/clutch fluid resevoir cap. Hey Puma races and evo right? I'll snap a pic if you guys would like.

when your brake fluid over boils sometimes it leaks into the engine bay and strips paint. This soaks up the fluid before it can do that..I have the advan ones on my car

On cars driven aggressively at the track, most tracks frown on "Leaky fluids" so you put those on anything that has a resevoir cover to soak up the oil/fluid that may leak or drip under hard turns.. I used them alot on my old car that got alot more hard duty (and was more prone to overflowing or dripping on the master cylinder)

But another poster is right, wrist sweat bands work just as well (Thats likely where they originated from)

i went to hot topic and bought some wristbands with skulls on them and used them..... cheaper and works the same...

yeh wristbands are fine.....I just wanted them to look nice and paid $12 for mine off ebay
