Talking Pics of my painted black mirrors.....

Recently I had my rearview mirrors painted gloss black. Originally they were blue. I really disliked they way they looked blue. IMHO they should come black from the factory.

I may do the wing end the same color. I just have to get around to photoshopping it so I can get a better idea.

Now I've got to figure out which wheels I want to go with.

Instead of painting the spoiler black, why not just strip the paint off and go with all carbon fiber?

I've already got the headlights. LOL. I did that after a week of owning it. I have yet to do the tails.

I agree on the carbon fiber wing. In fact, I think it makes it even better making all the black parts carbon fiber.

LOL. Who said anything about blue tinted windows? I own an Evo, not a 2nd gen RX-7 or civic.

Actually, the tint is some factory/dealer installed option. It's really not that dark. The place I took the pics in is like a loading dock here in Tampa, near the ChannelSide district. Guess the lightning there makes it look darker.

Blue tint.......

Grass is always greener I guess. I wish my black RS mirrors and door handles were body color

Did them myself. Took about 6 hours to do, but I was real careful and did everything right.

They look pretty good. I would not paint the wing-ends black.

The mirrors look good, they sort of disappear against the tinted windows.

WHY?

I have an RS also, that stuff (blacked out mirrors, doorhandles, and no wing) is what sets apart from the regular EVOs. IMO

I love the difference.

When I paint my car, I'm keeping the black trim black
