Stock Lip vs. aftermarket

So I am thinking I'll simply paint my stock lip gloss black to go for that red and black theme. Seeing that do luck and others cost an arm and a leg and it does help that my lip is a little scratched.

I would think it would look pretty decent with a black accent similar to JDM MRs.
Anyone else done this?

The stock lip rounds off the front end. If you paint the lip black your bumper will look like it was slightly chaved on the bottom. I would have to agree with gonzo, photoshop it first!
