anyone had any luck getting mitsu to repaint any body parts due to there cheap *** paint? i havent tried yet, but i might.

i got my rear 1/4 panel repainted because the clear was coming off.
i had my intake, bov and boost controller and gauges then. i probably got my engine warranty voided doing that. they fixed it in one day. i had a nice focus 4dr rental car...

i too would like to know if they will fix the chips because i have some on my door jambs.

 

same i detailed this weekend and noticed clear chipping on my hood

 

I had chips on the little strip behiend the rear door get re-painted because the door was mis-aligned from the factory. But then I got a few chips above my windshield that started to rust, and one on the rear door that started to rust and they said that all of them were because of rocks and isn't covered under the anti corrosion warranty...... BS

i got those chips on the panel behind the rear door during very first month after i bought the car, they fixed it with touch up paint....

 

I had a similar experience in dealing with Mitsu in regards to the rear door jamb chips. They said that it was normal wear and tear which isn't covered under warranty......I replied with if that's normal wear and tear, I'd hate to see what these things look like after five years. Good Luck!

its too bad. mitsu finally made a great again, but cheaped out on it.
i might trade it in. maybe. i just cant handle chips in the paint. looks like ****.
