Here's my buddy Adam's STI and Phil's Evo 8 RS. I believe Adam's selling the STI, because he just bought a 240 and is swapping in the rb26det. It might be on autotrader. Phil's thinking of getting the wing, but I told him it looks so much better without it.

 

You know now that it has been brought to my attention I really do think that one of the things that makes a wingless evo look right is the absence of the rear windhield wiper.

 

I have a LBP Lancer trunk on my TB Evo, and its matches great!

 

The more i look at this thread the more i like the wingless look

 

 

all these cars look great.. ive got a gg ix, and im thinking about doing this also. but i want to paint the rims first.

 

Well this past weekend, finally got some time to take the wing off... Man I think it really looks good, got to admit when I first purchased the car, I never thought I would take it off... Man that adhesive was a pain, actually ended up using some dental floss to start it, then used a box cutter to finish it off, it worked perfectly. Sorry pics taken with a cell phone... but hey at least I got pics...
