I took mine off and covered the holes w/electrical tape but i just bought a trunklid off ebay so i need to paint it and i'll just swap whenever i feel the urge.

Here's one just sitting in the garage waiting for parts to be installed. Kinda looks funny, no weight up front so it sits higher. Will post better ones when I get it out.

i've been wanting to do this for a w hile. . . . . . .any difference in highway driving due to less downforce?

No. No difference whatsoever. At normal driving speeds that is.

No difference in normal, street driving. But, the big Evo wing is a functional aerodynamic aid. If you regularly go through turns at over 80-100 Mph, you will want to keep it, the rear end gets very light.

Wing goes back on for track days (it's also covered with stickers) so it's extra not an option on the street.
