just my .02 but I agree with the people above and say just black out the tails. do what makes you happy though

Yea...def just tint the tails or get VII's...your car will be set....the wing should fit beter...the tails IMO seem to offset the rest of the flow

No, you don't just lay down a thin layer of paint. Trust me, I am a certified auto body repair man and painter. Regualr base coat is not transparent, only candy and clear are. If you lay down a minimal amount of base, its going to look blotchy and cloudy. As for mixing color and clear, people may be thinking of a single-stage paint job which I think alot of our EVO's have, not good.

thanks for the help guys, this is what i did, ill have pics tomorow night


we painted the whole spoiler BBY, then on the side pieces it has the peeling effect with carbon fibre showing through with some aribrushing highlights, it looks SICK!! doing the blacked out tails soon as well, thanks....
