Stereo, speakers, RS..

So like I've been searching and I get mixed results.

I have an '05 RS and it needs audio.

I hear 6.5 infinifty speakers work because they have an adapter in the box, can some one confirm this and which model they used. Also is this for in the front and back? or just front? I would rather buy the right speaker then fiddle with fiberboard.

I bought a harness for the deck unit and I got a nice mp3 player wired in and have it on and powered, the dimmer light works as well. Awaiting speakers..

Proceeding, does the RS have the factory amplifier in car somewhere or just straight wires due to weight of the amp? If so, anything special (wiring) need to be worked out on the deck unit.

Also, was looking for the rear speaker wires, I know people say they are there in the front, but are they run to the back? If so, can somewhere point me to where they are as they are hidden in my '05

I've searched and I cant find any "AUDIO" wiring diagrams. I got 14 all white wires to deal with here on the factory mitsu plug, lol.

Thanks in advance

04 rs here, and have full audio install but bypassed all stock wires.

infinity may fit stock wire plugs in fronts...dunno

rear, yes there is wire ready to be hooked up, wire is taped up below the rear grill....GL

oh, and there is no stock amp or wiring just hu harness to be hooked up,

all you need is aftermarket standard hu w/ internal amp...just plug and go.

speaker wires all there after you hook up your speakers, just plug and go!

Sweet thx, no amp is good...

That solves the wiring, still would like to know exactly what brand speakers will fit up front and in back without cutting/splicing/custom bracketry to bolt/screw them in place. And maybe where to get them. Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.. Online ordering is a PITA for me.

I believe the speaker harness at the doors and rear are that 2 prong plug with one vertical, the other horizontal?
