A-pillar gauge pod question
A-pillar gauge pod question
Does installing an A-pillar gauge pod harm the stock a-pillar at all, or is it just a cover or replacement? I'm talking about this one:

Thanks to anyone who can help. I really am interested in Audio18's new gauge pod design, but I'm not sure when if ever he'll be selling them.

The pillar you have pictured above is a full replacement for the stock A-Pillar. I ordered the triple gauge pillar from them. This particular unit does not have the tweeter cut out, so you'll have to be crafty with your Dremmel, or sport the extra cash for a different pillar that has the cut out. The stick-on pods are not bad, and that's what I originally went with. I had to drill a hole into the stock pillar it was covering to run the wiring through. I later decided I wanted something cleaner and fully molded.
