black steering wheel?

Hey guys, I just wanna know what you all think of painting the steering wheel black? I'm gonna be painting the interior trim pieces all a matte black (previous owner didn't take too much care of 'em) and I love the look of the UK MR steering wheel so I figured I'd make the wheel black, too. Opinions?

yay...my car's famous ...

the black does look a lot nicer than the silver though. I'll get a close up tonight, as it's not a glossy finish. It's the same metal like finish as the normal silver on the VIII, only black

Yeah the UK MRs are anodized not painted I believe. Also don't paint your interior matte black! The pieces will probably turn outt ghettoo and rigged and you'll still have scarred up trim, just black. Just get some carbon pieces.

^^ Those pics are from a UK MR so the wheel is black from the factory. I'm planning on painting the wheel over the weekend so I'll update you guys then.

For now, BUMP for the black wheel revolution!

Thanks for posting up more pics!

BTW, any idea on what paint to use on the steering wheel? I was thinking of getting it powdercoated but since I have loads of spray cans in the garage I thought I'd try to use those first.
