i have to agree even though i love the look of 19's i would never go that route. 17's or 18's all the way imo

I'm not a big fan of those volks....But I'm a firm believer in it's your car do what you like !!!!! Oh and also the stock rims weigh 20.5 lbs....I just got a best motoring dvd here that also verifies that and many vendors call it that also....just my .02.....keep the mods coming

The wheels are pretty decent, but I don't care for them on an Evo.

The car looks long because of the drop. I noticed that my car looked way longer after the drop.

THE STOCK WEIGH 20.5 LBS? then what do the MR wheels weigh. i thought I read they were like 21 lbs and stock was 24 or sumthin like that, maybe i was mistaken.

MY girlfriend drove her 98 tsi awd on 19x7.5 rims with 225/35 tires on them for 9 months of 2003 and 7 months of 2004 wihout one problem. Her car was dropped 1.75" too. never had a blow out once. then she sells it and gets a 2005 is300 and within 3 weeks I hit 2 potholes and blew both front tires (2 sep ocasions) so go figure. I never had a blowout in my life and on her stock 17's 2 blew out in 3 weeks.

I think he'll be fine

Here's a pic of those wheels done right

I dunno for sum reason they do not look good in gunmetal on an evo. I got the same rims but in 18's and in silver. I use dunlop 8080E's in 245/40/18 and this is what it looks like

I like them in 19's in gunmetal on the blue, i think it accents the tinted windows and cf part of the wing very nicely
