i don't think mitsu would deny warranty claims for just an intake and bov, but man i would be pissed if that was my wing.

Dang...easy with the orbital buffer (grinder) j/k. That wing looks terrible. Maybe try a different dealer to replace the wing.

Nice... Single spring or dual spring in the BOV? Also, do you have any stalling problems? do you use the EIDS from HKS

What the hell happened to your wing? I have heard of others having problems with chipping and fading but I have not ever seen it personally. The only problem i have had with mine is where the spoiler used to meet the antenna. Then I replaced it with the Perrin unit but GOD DAMN.......good luck getting it replaced.

They should replace that wing. From what I've heard, some of the first wings were really bad and had that problem, then Mitsubishi switched companies. That should be covered.

that really sucks if mitsu will not replace it..... If they dont though you can fix it with a little wet sanding and some clear coat. Just tape off everything but the top of the wing and then wet sand it with a block and 400 grit wet paper. Just ruff it up and blend the faded spots. Clean it good and let it dry. Then spray it with some clear paint.

i had to do a single spring mod because it had stall issues and relined the screws now it is loud. sounds great. the hks intake runs fine but i heard it make our evo run too lean, but i dont have any issue. maybe it becasue our evo were made very rich so a lil leanness doesnt affect it. right?

You can try going to Great Neck Mitsu they might be helpful with that wing problem. I'm not sure if they will give you any problems because of your intake and bov. By the way I would get that flash before it starts to get hot, running your car too lean in the heat can cause damage.

Nice round of mods. The wing looks like it is twenty years old. Good luck with that.
