it says $15950.00 with labor ect but for the 600whp you need a built motor and that will run you another 5k-7k at least. My build is going to cost like 5k and I'm not getting headwork done or a stroaker kit.

 

This whole thing started because of a blown motor, he does have a completely built 2.3 liter motor now.

 

Nah wasn't me I haven't been able to run it yet but soon and I will post some times when I do.

 

I understand that, thats how I started my rebuild. But again in order to achieve the same performance you need a built motor, reguardless will put some more $$ on to the 15k so in order to make your stocker like his your looking at about 20k with a blown motor or not. You still need the same new parts and still have to pay to put the motor in. The AMS shortblock stroaker kit is like 4k i believe dont feel like checking but I'm sure he has some kind of head work done. Head work depending if he got it ported and polished will add another 2k.

 

It's basically the 10sec build AMS has on their website but I went overkill on a few things and had a few things also pop up that make my price unaccurate to how cost effective you could actually do this build for. There is not a lot of labor because most of the parts have to be taken out anyway for the engine build and I was using 116oct.

 

Yes it is my daily driver but I have a work van so I don't have to drive it to work but it is my main and only car. I did have a 02 gsxr1000 I just sold but am planning on a new one so as of now car is it.
