I like the smoked ones way better than the yellow. Something about the yellow just doesn't look right to me... but hey, it'd be different, that's for sure! do what ya want, it's your car. =)

Personaly i think yellow headlights would look sick on a white evo. Just let him try it out to see how he likes it. The yellow film will only cost about $20, and if he doesnt like how it looks he can just remove it. Its not like its a permanent thing by any meens.

The car needs to have the right mods for the yellow lights to look right. THeres an MR that goes to the local Autox and its stock but bc its gray, and the wheels are dark, the yellow headlights look good. A stock car with silver wheels will not look good. I've since taken the yellow off bc it looked terrible with my SSR SP1s

I think yellow would looks alright, but they are not legal at least in California (my friend had those on his car, but the cop told him they weren't legal).
