well i got my new plates in today and i put them on and it looked like something was missing, the cover/back, i dont know what its called (btw im talkng about the back of the car). its usually black, plastic, sometimes it will say the dealership name or AEM or something. do i have to have it, or can i just put the plates on by themselves becuase it seemed kinda loose when i put it on?

 

do u mean a license plate frame? no u don't get one of those from the dmv when they send u the plates. u can put 3m doulbe sided taped behind the plate if it seems too loose or rattles though
